Unconventional necklace created from Rebeca Zamora’s philosophy and inspiration of recycling and reusing noble materials such as wood, leather and steel.
In this original handmade necklace Gato Negro presents an equilibrated piece merging cedar wood treated with linseed oil, with leather pieces in different color palettes.
It’s an equilibrated jewelry piece, given its length and its asymmetrical mirrored colorimetry. Attractive from either side, the centered portion evokes a smile given by the shapes of the tubular large leather remnant and the perpendicular cedar wooden charm.
The natural colors and neutral palette tones given by the materials used in this unique jewelry creation, make this necklace easily wearable and matchable in every occasion.
Featuring a leather cord adjustable at every side for a personalized length, this necklace becomes a smart choice for an alternate look.

- Handmade in Costa Rica
- Materials: cedar wood, leather, stainless steel, leather cord.
- Dimensions: 43 cm of length, fully stretched cord.
- Leather rolls: 1.3 cm x 1.3 cm.
- Golden stainless steel balls: 0.5 cm in diameter.
- Wooden wheels: 2.2 cm in diameter. 0.5 cm in height.
- Wooden rectangle: 10 cm long x 1 cm wide.
- Small leather tubes: 1cm in diameter. Height varies between 2 and 4 cm.
- Large leather tube: 1 cm in diameter. 14 cm long.
- Packaging: Eco-friendly paper tag, bag made of scraps of cotton fabrics.
- Care: keep the necklace in a dry place. Remember to wear perfume before wearing the necklace. The wooden pieces, for their hydration and maintenance, with a cloth you can pass them mineral oil.
